Working Groups

Working Groups

In Kerala's Local Self-Government Institutions (Gram Panchayats, Block Panchayats, and District Panchayats), Working Groups, also known as Expert Committees, are committees formed as part of the People's Planning Process to prepare annual development plans.

The objective is to ensure that development plans are not prepared merely by sitting in a room, but are formulated scientifically by involving experts and elected representatives from each development sector.
